There are a pair of "Hitchcock was mostly a creep" biopics on the way. The first comes from HBO Films and stars Toby Jones as Hitch and Sienna Miller as his latest blonde obsession, Tippi Hedren.
Apparently the movie delves into the long reported
weirdness that took place on the set of
The Birds.
The trailer is just
okay in my opinion. Jones seems to have the chops to pull off Hitch and Miller is certainly a capable enough actress. Everything seems a little bland though. It's missing a little
oomph, no?
There's a Lifetime Original Movie quality to it that has me a wee bit worried.
